Harrison, Eliza J.

7/4/96 Eliza seems to have two last names. The gravestone at Oakwood cemetery shows her name to be Eliza J. Harrison wife of Minor H. Howe. While the Akron Beacon Journal newspaper article written accounting the death of Minor H. Howe shows her name to be Eliza Lowery. This may be her maiden name or previous married name. The Cuyahoga Falls reporter indicates as well that her name was Eliza Lowery.
Interestingly enough both newspaper articles list two children born to Eliza from her first marriage. The Cuyahoga Falls reporter list them as Fred Lowery of Mansfield and a Mrs. F. S. Ozier also of Mansfield. Where as the Akron Beacon Journal list them as George H. Lowery of Mansfield and Mrs. F. S. Ozier also from Mansfield. The newspaper articles were written 4 days apart. The Akron Beacon Journal being Monday evening February 19, 1906 and the Cuyahoga Falls reporter on Friday February. 23, 1906.
